Alicia R. Nocera, Esq.

Mediator, Arbitrator and Early Neutral Evaluator | Owner of Real Estate Mediation Service, LLC

Alicia has 27+ years of legal experience, trying cases to million and multimillion-dollar verdicts across Allegheny, Westmoreland, and Fayette County. She knows what it looks like when a real estate dispute goes to trial: the cost, the uncertainty, and the outcome you cannot control.

Five years ago, she left litigation behind entirely. She became a real estate mediator, was mentored and trained by Bernie Behrend, and continued to build a practice exclusively around real estate cases in Western Pennsylvania, and has since handled over 300 real estate mediations, along with hundreds more across contract disputes, personal injury, divorce, custody, EEOC, and workplace disputes to name a few.

Today Alicia is a full-time mediator and the President of the Mediation Council of Western Pennsylvania. Mediation is not a side practice. It is my only practice.

Alicia's Philosophy

Why Alicia Believes Mediation Gives Clients More Control

❝ I spent decades in the courtroom. I tried cases to million-dollar verdicts. And I can tell you from experience: going to trial is a gamble. Even the strongest case carries risk that most people do not fully understand until they are sitting in front of a judge or jury. Mediation puts the decision back in your hands. That is why it works and why I enjoy being a part of the mediation process.❞

When a Real Estate Dispute Needs Mediation, The Mediator Matters.

Real Estate Mediation Service handles only real estate cases. That focus means our mediators have seen more real estate disputes, failure to disclose claims, and hand money conflicts, than almost anyone practicing in Pennsylvania.
